Kama Ayurveda Hand Cream Review

Hello to all my lovely readers!! :D:D

How are you doing? Hope you enjoyed reading my blogs that were posted recently. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Like face care, skin care for other body parts is equally imp. so as to keep it youthful and wrinkle free. Our hands are the most exposed part of the body and every day they have to do so many things. Whether household chores or having a 9 to 5 job, our hands had to suffer a lot. The pollution, exposure to hard water and harsh chemicals in detergents, fluctuating temperatures inside and outside the home or office, our hands have to pay the price and thus they become dull, dehydrated and lifeless. Sometimes, chemicals and other factors may lead to skin allergies leading to rashes, redness and dried peeled off skin. When I suffered the same some years ago, it was a wake up call for me to start taking extra care of them before it’s too late.πŸ˜•πŸ˜•

Today, we have been made available with creams and moisturizer for every type of skin and different ones for different purposes. Although, we do use the regular body lotions that claim to give hydration and moisture needed by our skin but for our hands we need deep and intensely hydrating skin care product as they tend to get dry faster than the skin on other body parts. Natural oils and butter extracted from plant sources have been used for years but this secret was again recently discovered and revamped by beauty industry and presented too us in the form of hand creams and body butters. They are a blend of natural oils and butters along with some chemical carriers. Shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil, coconut oil, olive oil, etc. have been the key ingredients for these hand creams as they are very heavy and rich and thus provide the much needed hydration and moisture. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

So, here I am with yet another review of a skin care product. It’s the Kama Ayurveda Hand Cream. Well, who doesn’t know this famous Indian brand which is known to sell Ayurveda beauty products which are 100% natural means no Parabens, no urea, no additives and added fragrances. They manufacture pure and authentic Ayurveda product and if you are a on a hunt of organic skin care product then you may end it here. 😊😊

Anyways, let’s get started with the review of the hand cream from Kama Ayurveda.

I got this one too in my ‘Smytten Trial Box’ (review posted earlier) where in I gave a brief about all the products I curated for trial.

Packaging – This comes in a carton inside which there is a pale colored tube with black cap. On the carton packaging you can find all the details like manufacturing details, ingredients list, application, caution etc. and the same has been given on the back of the tube. This trial sample is of 8g with a shelf life of 2 years and originally priced at Rs 100/-. Packaging is travel friendly. It’s cruelty free as well (no animal testing done). πŸ€—πŸ€—

Ingredients list-Organic Almond Oil, Organic extra virgin Coconut oil, Shea butter, Cocoa butter, Kokum butter, Aloevera, Glycerin.

Warning- Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse well with cool water. Keep away from children.

Product claims- nothing written on the packaging.

Appearance and application- It’s a white colored cream. Consistency is medium thick with soft peaks more like of lotion and texture is buttery soft. It gets absorbed in the skin instantly and blends easily. Fragrance is not like that of a normal body lotion and smells strongly of almond oil and coconut oil which might not be liked by everyone. It can be applied any time of the day and specially curated for hands for their much needed extra care. A small amount is needed for application and it should be massaged until absorbed into the skin. 😘😘

My experience – I always wanted to try out Kama Ayurveda products and it’s not surprising at all that whatever the claims they make are true. The hand cream from them is a wonderful product just like a magic potion which gives the result instantaneously. It has a buttery soft texture which melts and get absorbed in to the skin within a blink of your eyes and makes the skin feeling softer and leaving it smoother for hours. My hands never felt that baby soft ever. Though I don’t like the fragrance much but it fades away within few seconds or you can say some minutes. All praises for this product as I am in love with it but it saddens me that the sample to try out is so tiny and lesser in terms of amount. The goodness of Shea butter, cocoa butter and other key ingredients are well known from years and that is why the product wins the hearts which are more into using organic products and want to explore the secrets of Ayurveda. It gives ample amount of hydration and moisture as required by our damaged skin of hands. One can even apply them on and around the nails as they will help in healing the skin torn around the nails like always happen due to various type of chores done. Overall, I really like the product but the only thing that bothers me is the price of the full size product which might be not wallet-friendly with everybody. If you really want to spend on an organic product though, then this one is good to go. πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Availability- Kama Ayurveda have their own physical stores and also have a great presence online on websites like Nykaa, Amazon, Smytten etc. πŸ˜—πŸ˜—

Rating and Recommendation – This product deserves a 5/5 if I keep aside the price thing. I would definitely recommend to try and but this one. I totally love it.❀️❀️
